Total Worker Health (TWH) incorporates a range of policies, programs and practices that are designed to protect workers from work related safety and health hazards. It is a registered trademark of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
A key aspect of the program is its holistic approach to the health and well-being of workers. It often brings to the fore risk factors in the workplace that have not previously been considered as worker risk factors.

Total worker health looks beyond the obvious worker hazard such as unhygienic working conditions to also consider such factors as wages, hours of work, workload, stress levels, interactions with co-workers, and access to periods of leave.
