Safeopedia Explains Critical Thinking

The term "critical thinking" has its roots in the mid-late 20th century. The discipline is designed to assist in any thinking process by improving the quality of our natural thought process. This is based on the premise that our natural thinking process unchecked can lead to biases, partiality, prejudice, etc. due to the emotional impact of thoughts, and also that the quality of life is determined by quality of thought.
