The Ticket to Work scheme is open to all persons between the ages of 18 and 64 who are receiving Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplementary Security Income. The program is completely free and voluntary.
Individuals no longer need a paper ticket issued through the mail to qualify. Eligibility of workers will be verified by the service provider that the person chooses. People who enroll in the program make a commitment to work at a specified earning level, or complete certain educational or training requirements.
