Jen Thorson is the Chief Operating Officer and Founder at Modjoul. As a former executive at AIG, Jen Thorson has seen a lot of unnecessary workplace injuries and fatalities. She has also been a long-time customer of athletic wearables. When collaborating with Mr. Martinez on the idea of Modjoul, Jen jumped at the opportunity to bring safety and productivity insights to the employee / employer market through the use of a wearable.

Prior to founding Modjoul, Jen Thorson was the Head of Strategic Planning, Transformation, Operations, and Regulatory Control at American International Group. Jen was recognized as a top talent at AIG having been nominated to be a part of AIG’s top women’s initiative. She held varying leadership positions during her 12 years at American International Group. Jen Thorson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.

Kenneth Sandlin is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at George’s, Inc. Previously he was vice president of Safety & Health at Pace Industries. He is responsible for leadership, providing corporate oversight, technical assistance, and advancing Environmental, Health, & Safety Management System; Safety 24/7, The off-the-job safety program. The Journey doesn’t stop with just zero incidents; We are also committed to reaching zero unsafe acts or behaviors, zero avoidable health conditions, zero disengaged employees, and zero nonparticipation in continuous improvement.

During his career, he has been a featured speaker at multiple national and regional safety, health, wellness, and leadership conferences. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Education, with a computer tech endorsement from the University of Arkansas; an Associate’s degree in Fire Science Administration and Technology; and an Associate’s degree in Paramedic Science both from Northwest Arkansas Community College.
