I have been in the safety industry for over 25 years and I have seen quite a few success stories. The key to having success with my clients is to always have an open dialogue. It is most important to listen and understand what the client’s needs are and what we can do to fulfill those needs and the timeline needed to do so. As an example, I had a client with roughly 400 employees doing small assembly work in their plant. They had been using a coated cut and sew glove that had seams on the fingers and made it difficult to pick up the small parts. The employees complained about hand fatigue and the supervisors needed more productivity. We found a solution with an 18 guage seamless glove with a light coating on the palm and fingers. The glove provided the protection they needed and eliminated the hand fatigue. Their productivity rose as they could now do their job in more comfort and protection.

This industry is about protecting American workers with products that inspire safety. I got into the safety business because I like to work with people and help solve problems. The best way to do that is to stay up to date with the best products for my clients and give them training to use them.

I don’t believe safety products are commodity products. For me, it is never about selling the lowest cost product, but instead, finding the best value safety product. The value is in protection, comfort, productivity, and the right price. I have over 25 years of “on the ground” safety experience with many clients. I value the relationship with those clients. It is Priority 1 that they are satisfied with my product solutions and training to help them be successful. All of us working together to find safety product solutions is what it is all about.
