Safeopedia explains National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

The NFPA's mission is to reduce fire hazards and their impact on quality of life through the provision of codes and standards as well as research, training and education. It leads educational campaigns such as Fire Prevention Week, which is held in October, to help educate the public as well as fire service professionals about fire hazards and fire prevention.
