Safeopedia Explains Crude Death Rate

By subtracting the crude death rate from the crude birth rate, the rate of natural increase can be determined. This figure is the rate of population change, but does not take into account the rate of migration. Crude death rate is dependent on the age distribution of the population and the age specific mortality rate.
