Todd Wells is a safety professional who works to turn complex projects into successes, implementing effective safety initiatives and consistently achieving measurable positive results on his projects.
Todd is currently a Surface Safety Coordinator with Hatch and understands that world-class safety is about establishing a culture that manages risks and workplace behaviors that cost money.
Todd has landed HSE consulting, management and advisory jobs in offshore oil and gas, EPCM and contractor roles on projects that include the construction, hook-up, mating, and commissioning of the Hebron project (a gravity base oil and gas production platform), construction of a new nickel processing plant (Long Harbor Processing Plant) as well as the IOCC iron ore mine, and Voisey’s Bay nickel mine expansion projects to name just a few. Additional HSE experience includes subsea cable installation, pull in, connection and commissioning on the Maritime Link Project, fabrication, marine repairs and refits, utilities and seismic exploration.
Todd is a trained safety professional with a post-graduate diploma Advanced Safety Engineering Technology and Business Management from the College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland, Canada.
In his off time, you can find Todd spending quality time hanging out, kayaking and mountain biking with his two sons.
