Kerry Schimelfenig is the ninth of ten children born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He is current role is Product Sales Manager, PPE for the North part of the country with Protective Industrial Products, a Latham New York based manufacturer and importer of consumable Personal Protective Equipment. Kerry currently maintains the following certifications, CSM (Certified Safety Manager), QSSP, (Qualified Safety Sales Professional), PES (Personal Protective Equipment Specialist) NFPA-70E and Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer, in both construction and general industry spaces, OSHA 3095 & 3095 Train the Trainer as well as NYC – DOB, SST. Kerry is a Service-Connected Disabled Veteran who served in the Gulf War, in the Navy. Continuing his commitment to serve continues alongside fellow Veterans as an active member in disabled Veterans organizations. Despite his complicated schedule, Kerry always is available for his wife Erin and three children, Austin, Keelin, and Mya. His face lights up when he talks about them. Kerry is astutely aware of the importance safety plays in the life of everyone’s family .
