For the past two years, Fred Romig has served as a hazmat consultant with U.S. Chemical Storage. His experience in the industry spans several decades, though, as he made a name for himself by developing hazmat storage buildings with unique features that customers wanted, but no other company provided. By defining best practices in the design, manufacturing and on-site installation of chemical storage buildings, as well as introduce a consultative sales approach that provided customers with peace of mind through the entire process, Fred was an instrumental cog to the company’s success. He became well-versed in local, national and international codes, and used the information to craft relationships with all different types of people involved in the industry, from architects to engineers, fire departments to code officials, and ultimately, with end users.Fred also has a knack for solving real problems for customers. His exploration into new approaches resulted in a number of inventions and 8 patents. Fred graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Business Administration.
