SafetyFest of Southeastern New Mexico

Lea and Eddy counties have seen significant economic growth in recent years, resulting in increased traffic-related accidents and fatalities. The Southeastern New Mexico Roadway Safety Integrated Project (RSIP) believes most accidents are PREVENTABLE. Economic growth and safety must go hand-in-hand to ensure Southeast New Mexico’s quality of life.

RSIP brings together commercial industry, federal, state and local governments, and law enforcement agencies to collectively monitor, evaluate and mitigate potential traffic-related hazards. RSIP team members advocate driver accountability, compliance to motor vehicle and law enforcement standards, and road improvements.
